2007 Harley-Davidson VRSCAW - V-Rod, The VRSCAW V-Rod helps to literally widen the VRSC family, offering the original V-Rod custom styling and liquid-cooled engine performance with an ultra-fat 240mm rear tire. With a 36-degree fork angle, forward controls and pullback welded handlebar, drag-style Machined, Slotted Disc Cast Aluminum wheels and chrome slash-cut exhaust, the VRSCAW launched the power cruiser category in recent years. A new five-gallon fuel tank rides under a low seat of just 26 inches. Chrome Slash-cut Dual exhaust pipes deliver the sweet sound of a high-performance 1130cc Revolution two-tone silver and charcoal engine with chrome treatment. US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.

In the contest’s three-year history, the combined margin of victory stands at just over two tenths of a second. And last year’s dogfight saw ninth position take the checkered flag less than eight tenths removed from the victory. Each previous contest has developed into a full-blown drafting war, with the class’ evenly matched machinery testing the tactical acumen of its pilots as they negotiate the high banks within inches of one another.

Opening Jan. 17, the Living Lost Photographs by Josh Kurpius art exhibit includes 30 photographs taken during a series of road trips Kurpius took with friends, all riding vintage Harleys.
