The slipper motorcycle clutch (slip and assist) is a unique Harley clutch that provides smooth, high-power handling in turns or whenever you downshift. By reducing clutch friction, the V-Rod Muscle slipper clutch helps keep your rear wheel at a controlled clip. The Harley slipper clutch also comes on the V-Rod Night Rod Special Harley-Davidson power motorbike. In addition to the slipper clutch, the V-Rod Muscle features satin chrome, dual side exhaust with turnout mufflers. Jetting out past the rear axle, these dominating motorcycle pipes add to the fierce, beefy look of the bike. This Harley V-Rod Muscle motorcycle exhaust system proves that a performance exhaust can still be a beautiful set of pipes. The items belong to Ron Shreffler, former owner of a Harley-Davidson dealership in Manteno, Ill. The retired Shreffler once had plans to open a Harley-Davidson museum but has now decided to auction off his collection gathered from 48 years in the industry.
Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home
Tue, 04 Feb 2014If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.
