Honda 1973 SL125 tech info
Honda 1973 SL125 description
Good running 1973 Honda SL125. I am the third owner. I bought it in 1990 and just rode it once in a while on the trails behind my house. Original paint. Everything works. No leaks or smoke. New tires & tubes, coil, air filter, oil screen, ignition lock, battery, seat, cylinder & piston and carburetor (not a cheap one). Original tool kit still there. It likes 93 octane gas. I have a clear Connecticut title but Connecticut doesn't need a title if the vehicle is over 20 years old. Included is an original owners manual and shop manual. Local pick up only, I can not ship it. There is no insurance on it now so when you come to pick it up, I can't let you take it for a test ride but I would demonstrate it for you. Sold as is, where is. No warranty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=frAkVcgSVtQ&feature=youtu.be |

Dovi given the 1000fps treatment
Fri, 22 Jul 2011Andrea Dovizioso describes the perfect lap from the start to the corners. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.
Data Analysis From Marc Marquez’ 200 MPH Mugello Crash
Mon, 03 Jun 2013The chart above is the data recovered from the Alpinestars racing suit of Repsol Honda Rider Marc Marquez after he crashed during practice on the front straight at this weekend’s MotoGP round at Mugello (click the pictures below for an enlarged view) while traveling 209 mph. This information is recorded for all Alpinestars suits equipped with the Tech-Air airbag technology. In case you’re curious about the effectiveness of airbags in leather suits, and the severity of impacts experienced during a 200 mph getoff, let’s examine the data.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
