Honda CB description

Up for auction from my collection is my 1965 Honda CB450 K0 Black Bomber.  I purchased this CB450 some time ago with the intent of doing a restoration or bobber project.  I targeted this particular CB450 because I felt it would be a good parts bike candidate or would be perfect for a bobber project as these style bikes keep increasing in popularity and value. I also purchased is since the CB450 K0 models are very, very hard to find in any condition. The frame number appearing on this CB450 is CB450-1022139. I now realize I do not have the time to do all the projects I had originally planned on or time to give this CB450 the attention it really deserves so I have decided to let it go to a new owner.  I am convinced the new owner will have a nice parts bike or starting point for a bobber project.

As you can see from the pictures, this CB450 will need some parts but if you can envision this CB450 with body parts and a seat installed you will see a very complete bobber project/parts bike candidate. As you can see, the original headlight bucket is present as well as the ignition switch and original Honda keys as well as a usable frame, engine and many other miscellaneous parts.  The original and rare horn as well as electrical coils can also be found on this example. The handlebars are mounted but will be removed and are not included with the purchase of this CB450.  All present bar controls will be included however.  As we make our way under the motorcycle, we will see a rare and attractive Hooker performance exhaust system mounted.  This is a very cool period correct piece and would be great for a bobber project as it is a very rare exhaust system.  The exhaust alone is very valuable.

This CB450 is currently being sold as a rare and difficult to find parts bike and will come with a bill of sale only with the mileage unknown.  It currently does not run and rolls very smoothly. This CB450 is also in reasonable clean condition as well as a whole.

Regarding Payment and Shipping, I will accept a wire transfer or a certified check for the CB450.  Payment must be received within 10 days of the close of the auction.  I will and can assist with shipping this bike anywhere in the USA or any other country in the World.  I have exported many motorcycles to Australia, Japan, France and the rest of Europe and have many different channels to get bikes exported for a reasonable cost and safely. I can also work directly with your shipper if you are outside the U.S.A to get this motorcycle to you.  I can help with the paperwork and any customs forms free of charge as well.  We can work together and get this bike to you if you are outside the USA-it is no problem at all.  I can also deliver this bike to Forward Air free of charge or may be able to deliver within 500 miles of Minneapolis, MN.  The bike is sold as is.

Please feel free to contact me via the ask seller a question link on this auction listing or call me (Kurt) directly at 651-895-5155.  I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding this CB450.  Also, please look at my feedback and bid with complete confidence.  I only offer the finest NOS parts and rare motorcycles from my collection and I have thousands of happy customers around the world.

X-ray: Marquez's Suter Moto2

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

Learning in the quickest and most painful manner with some huge crashes, Marc Marquez has grown into a championship contender in his first year in Moto2. A debut win in Le Mans saw the rookie go on to win four races in a row and become a glaring orange nuisance in the championship peripherals of Stefan Bradl. As success has gone Marquez's way there have been complaints from riders of the same chassis that this is down to Suter giving the Spaniard preferential treatment.

Honda has patented a technical solution from the arsenal of the Gold Wing tourer.

Thu, 02 Apr 2020

The modern Honda Gold Wing is equipped with a double wishbone front suspension, which not only increases ride comfort, but also allows the geometry of the motorcycle not to change during acceleration and braking. Lever suspension, which stabilizes the bahavior, may appear on other models of the company in the future. This is hinted at by patent images of similar systems integrated into the design of completely different motorcycles - the “classic” CB1100 and the small-capacity C125 Super Cub.

2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
