Honda CB description

Up for auction is my nice 1971 Honda CB750K1.  Along with it comes with a Motorvation Spyder.  This bike has been restored to a  point.  It was completely stripped down, frame sandblasted, and repainted with many other things done to it.  Several parts were replaced all with factory Honda parts such as exhaust, mirrors, cables to mention a few.  Some of the original parts are front wheel and fender, rear fender, taillight, and handlebars.  Most of the old chrome is still ok just not new.  Bike runs perfect!  Also has new tires and a complete tune-up with carb work all done.  Even gauges have been refurbished!  I'm sure I'm forgetting some things so if you have any questions please email me.  Otherwise, thanks for looking!

I did forget to put engine and frame numbers.  Engine is CB750E 1080006 and frame is CB750 1079415.  Production date 2/71. The other thing I'd like to mention is the chrome on the rear fender has a couple of blisters right below fender and the front wheel the chrome is a little dull.  I'm really trying to describe this as best I can. But I think in my first listing I down played this thing a little.  This was as close to a nut and bolt restoration that I have ever done.  Some of the chrome that should be replaced is minor compared to the overall project.   I think the bike looks great!  Also bike is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.  And I will assist in shipping if needed.

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

Mon, 21 May 2012

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. The cartridge kits have compression and rebound adjustment in both legs and are supplied with 1.5mm Flow Control Valves for a more accurate adjustment, all necessary hardware is supplied to convert the Big Piston Forks to take the cartridges but it is necessary to order the springs you require as these are not included, customer price for the 25SSK cartridges is £725.00 + VAT and are available for the following models:- Honda CBR1000RR 2012 Kawasaki ZX6-R 2009-2012 Kawasaki ZX10-R 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR600 2011-2012 Suzuki GSXR1000 2009-2012 Contact K-Tech on: +44(0)1283 559007.
