Cleaned plugs , set points and valves , new oil and filter new front brake lines rebuilt mastercylinder tapered steering head bearings correct fuel lines and routing new pilot jets and float valves new airbox to carb tubes nos seat Stock exhaust is missing end caps and has a small hole in the bottom of #2 muffler . Goes down the road fine with nice sound . Stops and shifts well . All lights work . |

Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option
Wed, 13 Feb 2013The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.
US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
