Honda CB description

I bought this bike off of my buddies father who had it in his barn for 20+ years.   It's in decent shape and runs.   Tires need replacing.  they are weather checked but still hold air perfectly.  There are some areas where the chrome plating has failed such as the mirrors and a few areas on the exhaust.  Everything works.  Blinkers, switches, brakes, everything.   The seat stitching gave out in one small spot and the vinyl is kindof crusty.  It's all fairly simple repairs.  I replaced the plugs, oil, carburetors, and battery.  Will start on the first kick when it isn't near freezing outside.   Tank had some very light surface rust which pretty much disappeared as soon as I put some fresh fuel in it.  The paint isn't perfect but there are zero dents.  There are some small chips where the seat meets the tank.  The bike also has the original tool kit.   And I also have the original 1974 Michigan title.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask.  It's an awesome bike and an easy project.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

Will the road-going RCV look like this?

Honda announced in a dry-as-you-like press release that a new bike was coming.  Not another motorcycle-cum-medical aid like the DN-01 or Integra, this is going to be a proper bike. A bike in a similar vein to previous bikes in the RC series, the RC30, RC45 and RC51, aimed squarely at winning races. So what's it going to look like?

We're all doomed...

Went to meet Niall Mackenzie at Donington on Saturday. He was doing some one-on-one instruction at a two-day Focused Events track bash, the first to be held at the newly reopened Leicestershire circuit. I was really interested in what they’d done to the track and the new chicane looks the business.
