Honda CB description

1976 Honda CB750F (Super Sport model). Cafe Racer style. New and/or rebuilt just about everything, too many to list. Motor was rebuilt with first 0.25mm over pistons and a web cam with a three angle valve job. Replaced all o-rings, seals, and gaskets. Gaskets set was top of the line, high performance, no leaks MSL from Cycle Exchange. Engine had about 7,500 original miles before rebuilt and 250 miles since rebuilt (I am still riding the bike on weekends so mileage may increase). It has a brand new Mikuni RS34 carburetor and a full Vanes & Hines exhaust system. Frame and all painted parts were repainted professionally. New rims and stainless spokes from Buchannan's on polished hubs. New brakes. New tires. Tarozzi rear sets and drop bars. Rebuilt fork with billet triple clamps, and new progressive rear suspension. The bike has been kept in my garage and only ridden on weekends. Title in hand and up to date registration. Please feel free to ask questions. I can also Viber video call for you to see it starts and runs if needed. The bike is sold as-is, no warranty (I am a private seller). Non-refundable $250 deposit via PayPal within 24hrs. Full payment within 7 days. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. The bike is also listed for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the bid early. Had her for over a year but put less than 150 miles on her so it's time to let her go. Feel free to ask questions. Serious buyers only; please don't bid/buy if you don't plan to pay. Thank you for looking!

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.

Expected to sell for approximately $96,000 to $112,000, the Japanese works Grand Prix racer is one of only two machines built by the factory for the French Kawasaki importer SIDEMM for use in the 500cc World Championship. The bikes were ridden during the 1974 season by the French endurance racing specialist Christian Léon and French-Canadian Formula 750 star Yvon Duhamel.

Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
