Honda CB description

1978 Honda CB400A Hawk Hondamatic motorcycle. It is semi automatic, has low/high gears but no clutch. Has just barely 10k miles. Runs and drives great. VERY reliable. Bought for my girlfriend to learn and she just has no interest. Bike is 95% original. Has 80s mirrors on it (EMCO Hawk), aftermarket Corbin type seat, and an in-line fuel filter. Front tire about 35%-40% and rear tire almost new close to 90%-95%. Brake pads and rear shoes are newer too, about 90%. Those are only things I know are different from original. I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. The mileage will change as I drive it 20-30 miles per week. Has some blemishes on chrome and two buttons on seat missing, no problem to replace. Part of one of the "Hawk" stickers missing.

Bike is listed locally so I reserve the right to end listing early.

Ryan Villopoto moved one step closer to repeating as AMA Supercross Champion with his seventh win of the season at Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canada. With his chief rivals not making the trip north of the border due to various injuries, Villopoto can clinch the 2012 championship as soon as next weekend’s race at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, if they continue to be out of action. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider has 271 points with five rounds remaining.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Las Vegas Results

Ryan Dungey scored his fourth win of the season but it was not enough to take second place in the points race behind champion Ryan Villopoto. That honor went to JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps who placed second to Dungey in the season-ending race at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. Dungey took the holeshot and led every lap to take the win for Red Bull KTM.

Unlike with most athletes, motorcycle racers’ faces remain hidden during competition. Except for promotional events or pre- and post-race interviews, the faces of our racing heroes are shielded under protective helmets with tinted visors. You don’t see the same human emotion in their faces like you can when soccer players score a goal or baseball players hit a home run.
