Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

Colin Edwards has announced he will retire at the conclusion of the 2014 MotoGP season. The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Lehman Rolls Out Gold Wing F6B Trike

In what has to be the company’s biggest splash since being resuscitated by Champion Trikes a couple of years ago,  Lehman Trikes has released the Monarch II LLS conversion for the Honda F6B. The Monarch II LLS features independent suspension, parking brake, 6-cubic-foot trunk with vertical lift door, and, like its namesake, a ton of accessories, standard. The conversion boasts Lehman’s trademark craftsmanship and styling along with the comfortable ride of the company’s new LLS independent suspension.
