Hello I have up for auction is a 1980 rat bike. The motor is a 1978 Honda CB750. I purchased this in May of 2012 not running and has been sitting since then. Since then I had moved and never transferred title in my name and have lost it. So this would have to be used as a parts bike or you would have to go to the DMV and apply for a lost title. About a week ago I decided to change out spark plugs and put new fuel lines on once I did that it fired up after 2 cranks. What the motor needs is the throttle and choke cables need to be lubed up cause they stick once in awhile, a $0.29 spring on the throttle and some air cleaners if you choose to run them. Like title says this is a rat bike so it don't have front brakes no speedometer and neither front nor back turn signals. That's all I really know about this bike being that I really haven't had time to mess with it. This is PICKUP ONLY!! Honda to Compete in 2013 Dakar Rally
Tue, 03 Jul 2012Honda announced it will enter a works team in the 2013 Dakar Rally‘s motorcycle class, returning to the event for the first time in 23 years. The Japanese manufacturer competed in the Rally from 1981 to 1989 when it was known as the Paris-Dakar Rally. Honda won five times during that period but then stopped entering its own team.
