Honda CB tech info
Honda CB description
For sale is a 2003 Honda 919. This bike has always been adult owned and
was used for touring by the previous owner. It has been extremely
reliable and is fuel injected so even cold starts are effortless and no
messing around with choke. The tires only have about a 1000 miles on
them. The bike has the power commander and scorpion exhaust that sounds
great and is not loud by any means compared to stock. Extras included
with the bike are a small windscreen, large touring windscreen, rear
stand, saddlebags, corbin seat with removable back rest along with the
original seat, renthal handlebars along with the originals, and a couple
of oil filters. Bike has never been down and looks great overall. There is a very small mark on the tank that looks like it may have been from a zipper but you really have to look to see it and could be buffed out entirely. I can send or post better pictures upon request.
Shipping is the buyer's responsibility but I would be glad to help in any reasonable way to drop off nearby or be available for pick-up. |

Looking after number 1
Fri, 06 Jan 2012There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
2014 Honda CB1100 EX Revealed
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Alongside the updated 2014 CB1100, Honda revealed a new variant it calls the CB1100 EX. Both 2014 models were announced at the Tokyo Motor Show but we’re still waiting to hear whether Honda will be coming stateside. The difference between the regular CB1100 and the EX are not that apparent, and at quick glance, it may be difficult to tell them apart.
BMW 1000RR and the Honda C70, are they indestructible?
Wed, 20 Apr 2011I’ve managed 1374 miles on the Michelin Power Pures (mostly on track) and although we’ve had some decent temperatures they still look like new so there’s plenty meat left for another month at least. I’ve been running them at 30psi front and 32psi rear and find they warm up after a few miles but I wouldn’t say the temperature comes any quicker than any of the competition so it has to be four miles before I get brave. I’ve had a few out the seat moments with my BMW but I have got the rear suspension set pretty hard (8 rebound,8 compression, two turns on pre load) and in slick mode, so 190bhp in first gear at the Knockhill hairpin is always going to be dodgy.
