Honda CB description
This gorgeous 1974 Honda 350Four is Black w/Gold trim. This motorcycle is as excellent as you ever find. Period!
The 4 chrome pipes have the Honda stamping HMCB 350KSL HM333. The pipes show no bluing and are almost perfect. The underside of each pipe has a drain hole that has a touch of rust.
The gas tank, side covers, and fenders have no dents or scratches and have almost a mirror finish! The engine starts easily; either by electric starter or kick start; idles smoothly. The clutch and transmission shift smoothly and effortlessly. All electrical systems work perfectly (lights, turn signals, horn).
There are 2 small rough spots on the engine cover by the kick starter. I run it on ethanol free gas. The tach has no fade in the red line zone as it is never left in the sun. The original tool kit and owners manual look as if they never been used and the seat has no cuts or tears.
1974 was the only year for the Black w/Gold trim and the last year of the 350Four. About 10 years ago the 4 chrome pipe configuration for the 350Four was taken out of manufacture. So these pipes as they are, almost perfect, are as far as I have been able to determine: irreplaceable.

Honda MotoGP Production Racer Undergoes Testing at Motegi
Mon, 27 May 2013Development of Honda‘s new production racer is well underway, as the new (relatively) low-cost MotoGP racebike underwent testing at Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi circuit May 23-24. Conceived as a lower-cost option for race teams, the production racer project is running slightly behind schedule but Honda still expects it will available in time for the 2014 MotoGP season. Early reports estimate the price for the production racer to be around US$1.26 million, a substantial price, but still considerably less expensive than rumored $3.9 million it currently costs to lease a Honda RC213V for one season.
