Honda CBR description

2003 Honda CBR 954 RR 12,000 miles

repeatedly voted one of the best used bikes, won numerous awards when new including best bike, lightest big bore CBR ever made, voted favorite "Fireblade" Honda sport bike by numerous racers and media

Testing waters on my pride and joy motorcycle, in it's current state, loaded with high quality upgrades and modifications before I sell off all my hard-to-find parts this winter and sell the bike as Oem stock in the spring. All work has been done by an experienced adult motorcycle enthusiast with supervision by an MMI certified technician. All quality parts were used and all work was done the right way with no corners cut and attention to detail. I tried to make this motorcycle as perfect as possible in every way and took impeccable care of it at all times. The bike was stored in my living room during the winter months and in a clean, dry, insulated garage during the summer. Always stored on both front and rear stands off the tires, winterized correctly and kept out of the sun. I kept all OEM, stock parts and they will all be included with the purchase. If the motorcycle doesn't sell, as is, before February, I will return the bike completely to stock, sell off my parts seperately and sell the bike as stock Oem condition. I stand to lose plenty of money selling the bike as is, but as everyone knows, aftermarket parts don't count towards any vehicle's value (within reason), but I feel that I've chosen the best parts and done tasteful modifications that anybody and everybody can appreciate. This is an excellent way to get a rare, beautiful motorcycle with some tasteful, custom touches and some rare, discontinued parts in near perfect condition with a solid history that has always been treated correctly. It has never been layed down or damaged in any way and has no major scratches or marks of any kind.

-Cleaned correctly after every ride, never left outside, never ridden in rain, never raced, never stunted, always babied

-bike has the biggest trunk of any sportbike i've ever seen

-also included is a factory oem 500 page service manual

I paid $5,790 for parts, paint, and powdercoat not including any shipping and any time

I paid $5000 for the bike 3 years ago and I believe a mostly stock, near perfect, low mileage 954 is still worth the $5000 in the spring

So with $10,800 invested, I'm asking $7500 as is, everything included, with the crate of stock parts.

If I could afford to keep the bike as a toy / showpiece, I absolutely would. It always gets compliments and attention from EVERYONE. Getting older and I want to go with a new sport touring bike and can't afford both. My loss is your gain. I will miss it for sure.

I bought the bike from the original owner, a 50 year old man, in 2012 with 8300 miles.

I would prefer someone pick the bike up, pay me cash, and take the large crate of OEM stock parts with them, but I will consider paypal and/or shipping the bike by an accredited motorcycle shipper through ebay and only if I am comfortable and have spoken on the phone with the buyer. I am also able to deliver the bike within Wisconsin for an agreed fee.

email me with a phone number for a call back to discuss anything
