Despite getting lost in the shadow of Suzuki's first-generation GSX-R1000, the 954 was and is a scalpel-sharp street tool. It went from 60 to 80 mph in an astonishing 2.61 seconds, covering the quarter-mile in 10.48 seconds at 136.11 mph. When you need to slow down, those four-pot calipers and 330mm front rotors generate sufficient power and feel to reverse the accelerative process with one finger on the lever. This incredibly clean, adult-owned, 954 is bone-stock except for a smoked windscreen, carbon fiber fuel filler lid protector and Harri's carbon fiber tank protector. More Than $5 Million Available From 2014 Honda Red Riders Rewards
Fri, 17 Jan 2014The continuation of Honda’s Red Riders Rewards program for 2014 means more than $5 million in earnings will be available to racers. Honda owners have the opportunity to earn payouts at more than 1500 races in 2014 motocross, off-road, dirt track, ATV and road racing contests throughout the country. Honda’s press release was awfully thin with details for road racers, instead focusing on a restructure of the off-road series payouts and the different ways competitors can hope to win money in.

2014 WSBK – Laguna Seca Results
Mon, 14 Jul 2014Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.
