BIKE WAS BOUGHT WITH A CUSTOM PAINTING KIT BUT WAS PUT BACK TO ORIGINAL STYLE. CUSTOM FAIRING KIT WILL COME WITH BIKE. THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL BIKE THAT IS ALL STOCK. IT REALLY IS A MUST HAVE. YOU WILL HAVE A HARD TIME FINDING SUCH A CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAIN BLACKBIRD. BIKE HAS A NEWER BATTERY AND TIRES ARE IN TERRIFIC CONDITION. BIKE COMES WITH OWNERS MANUAL AND TOOL KIT. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets. Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force. At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag. Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125. Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park. I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed. What and how do I become a motocross champion?
2013 Honda CRF250L Dual-Sport Officially Announced for US
Tue, 29 May 2012As expected, Honda has officially announced it will introduce its new CRF250L to the U.S., offering it as a 2013 model for $4,499. The 2013 Honda CRF250L is powered by a liquid-cooled fuel-injected 249cc Single inherited from the CBR250R, so it carries the same low-friction innovations such as the roller rocker arm design. Like the CBR, the CRF250L is produced in Thailand, helping keep costs low.
1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction
Wed, 18 May 2011This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
