Honda CBX description

Rare Opportunity!

This is an unmolested and original 1979 Honda CBX1000 six cylinder.  Only 15,090 believed original (and the bike's condition and appearance supports this) and well cared for miles after which the motorcycle was stored for a number of years.  It has now been brought out of storage and recomissioned ready for enjoyment by the next caretaker.  This bike is completely original, and comes complete with manual and toolkit.  It has the correct 630 chain, it has newer Metzeler tires in the correct size for the CBX.  Side covers have no lugs missing, tank has one slight mark in the top which was difficult to photograph but can be seen on the top-left of the gas tank.  Paint is all original, there has been no paintwork done other than a repair on the tail piece where it always cracks in the center.  This was repaired.  Brakes are good, engine runs excellent, exhaust pipes are original and in good shape, this is a great opportunity to get a CBX suitable for any collector/enthusiast, as this is the first year and the most desirable of all CBX's.  Please see the pictures taken of this motorcycle only days ago (note the clocks are not very faded at all) this is a nice CBX! It is ready to ride.  Please check my feedback and bid with confidence.

Dedicated to the preservation of the honda CBX Motorcycle.

The feature looks at how Fiolek finds success on the track while facing the challenge of being deaf in a sport where hearing is important.

Jeremy Burgess Out and Silvano Galbusera In as Valentino Rossi’s Crew Chief

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.
