Honda CL description

Over the years I have maintained and  got better and better parts by buying one other CL200. So the exhaust and front fender are nice and the left hand side cover is NOS thanks eBay. New tires and chain three years ago are still good for use, everything works. It has a new battery. I need some funds to do an even older bike so your luck. These CL 200 bikes were made for 1 year only a bored and stroked 175cc from earlier on.  There was a dent in the gas tank right hand side rearward near top it has been bumped out but never repainted so you can see the little pecks and paint cracks. Some of the gray cables and wire covers have discolored with age.

The CL model has folding foot pegs and High exhaust it is a street scramber not a full on dirt bike. With the 5 speed and full lights and signals it makes a fine little shopping bike just add milk crate. Just about perfect for the big swap meets. I have manuals that will go to the wining bider.

McGuinness Tests Mugen Shinden Electric Race Bike

Thu, 22 Mar 2012

Isle of Man TT veteran John McGuinness recently got a chance to test the new Mugen Shinden electric rice bike to prepare for the 2012 TT Zero. The test took place at the Twin Ring Motegi in Japan, a world-class racing circuit but perhaps not-coincidentally, a track built and owned by Honda, further fueling the belief the Mugen effort is a front for the Japanese manufacturer. The Honda-contracted McGuinness put the Shinden through its first big test, helping the Mugen team gather data on the electric racer.

Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead

Thu, 09 Jan 2014

Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Part 4

Fri, 20 May 2011

Yesterday aboard the 2012 Honda Gold Wing was quite an eye opener. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.
