2006 Honda Crf 450R, 2006 CRF450R, low hours, SDG tall seat, DMC Pro-quiet4 full exhaust, K&N air filter, TM Design Works chain guide, newer Dunlop Geo-max tires, Boyesen Quick Start accerator pump cover, extra full set of Acerbis body work, Diverse Suspension shock spring, a few extra oil filters. I'm the second owner of this bike. The first owner only rode it a few times, and it was obvious by the lack of wear on the cases, etc. Since buying it, I've ridden it three times, and it's been parked for about the last 3 months. The fuel has been drained from the tank and carb, so there'll be no issues with needing a carb cleaning. The stock exhaust, air filter cage, shock spring and seat will be included. The original owner was a 50+ rider, and I'm even older than that, so you can be assured the bike hasn't been thrashed. Us old guys don't ride like that. I'm looking to go back to a 250cc 2-stroke. Fri, 05 Jul 2013Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.
2013 Dakar Rally Results
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Cyril Despres won his fifth career Dakar Rally while helping KTM win for the 12th consecutive time, in taking the motorcycle class in the 2013 edition of the famed off-road race. KTM was again the dominant manufacturer with the top five finishers in the motorcycle class riding motorcycles from the Austrian manufacturer. Despres finished with an overall time of 43:24:22 for the win, including a 15-minute penalty for swapping an engine after the one he was using in his KTM 450 Rallye failed.
