Honda CT description

For Auction I have a 1977 Honda CT70. It has 1737 miles. It runs and shifts extremely well. The color is orange and is all original as far as paint and factory decals. It has some nicks and scratches and the chrome has some pits and surface rust after all it is almost 40 years old. Has a new battery and 2 new tires. Every thing works but the head light. It has a clear title signed off by the previous owner and also has the owners manual. The buyer should be very happy.  I have owned  this bike since 1994 and I purchased from a friend of mine who used it in Shriners  parades. I believe my description to be accurate but I might have missed something. Any questions call George at 423-213-0170  before 8pm ET.

It was the sort of road that pumps up your forearms and makes you crane your neck to see what's coming next (mainly cyclists). The surface was rubbish.

Honda’s V-4 History

Tue, 06 Oct 2009

As Honda prepares its new VFR1200 for its official unveiling, the red-wing company has set up a website detailing its long involvement in V-4 engines. It began back in 1979 with the introduction of the NR500 grand prix racebike. Rather than fielding a 500cc two-stroke engine, Honda used a four-stroke oval-piston V-4 motor – essentially a V-8 with four cylinders that could be revved to 19,500 rpm!
