1983 HONDA TRAIL 110 CT110 in its classic form is a 105cc 4-stroke air-cooled single cylinder engine with a four-speed transmission and an automatic clutch. That coupled with a roughly 2:1 ratio gear reduction box known as the dual range subtransmission which switched into operation using a small lever under the transmission case and allowed the CT to climb steep slopes with no difficulty. The cylinder is nearly horizontal in the step-through tube/stamping frame. The CT110's clutchless four speed transmission (centrifugal clutch) does not require a clutch lever, contributing to it's reputation for extreme reliability, economy and ease of operation. The original Honda Trail 110's have a faithful following for a reason. Here is your chance to own one of these renowned machines! NOT QUITE PERFECT, BUT VERY NICE CLASSIC MACHINE! HAS A VERY MINOR OIL LEAK NEAR THE FRONT SPROCKET (ONE TO TWO DROPS AFTER ITS BEEN RIDDEN AND THE OIL IS HOT) EXHAUST HAS SOME SURFACE RUST, BUT IS VERY SOLID, NOT DETERIORATED, NO SOFT SPOTS. AMA Supercross – 2012 Oakland Results
Mon, 30 Jan 2012The 2012 AMA Supercross Championship race is getting tighter with a fourth race winner in as many rounds following James Stewart‘s victory in Oakland, Calif. The JGRMX Yamaha racer captured his first win of the 2012 season at Oakland’s O.co Coliseum. Stewart out-dueled longtime rival Chad Reed of TwoTwo Motorsports Honda for the win.
2011 World Supersport Champion Chaz Davies
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Chaz Davies has captured the 2011 Supersport World Championship, completing a triumphant return to the series for Yamaha. Davies, the 2008 Daytona 200 winner, finished the Magny-Cours round in sixth place, giving him an insurmountable 35-point lead over Hannspree Ten Kate Honda‘s Fabien Foret with one race remaining. The championship comes in Yamaha‘s return from a one-year absence from the series.
