1976 Honda GL1000 LTD Bicentennial edition.
Very good condition for a 40 year old bike. Bike had a good check ( mild restoration) 3 years ago. Paint was redone , motor had all the rubber seals replaced, belts replaced, new fork seals, rebuilt carbs with Randakk's carb kits. New brake pads, Has Dyna S Electronic Ignition, Tires are in good condition. Chrome is in good condition with some scuffs. Remember this is a 40 year old bike and not in showroom condition, but it is a very nice bike with some flaws. Rims and spokes have some tarnish, paint has a few chips, starter slips from time to time,but has not failed me. Starts up good , shifts good, and stops good. Idles a little rough until warms up. I use the choke until it gets warm. Please ask any questions or concerns before bidding. I will answer to the best of my knowledge. |

Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer Revealed
Thu, 07 Nov 2013Honda Racing Corporation officially introduced its new RCV1000R production racer which will be sold to racing teams hoping to compete in MotoGP‘s new “Open” prototype class. The RCV1000R is based on Honda’s RC213V factory prototype, with the same chassis and a similar 90° V-4 engine claiming more than 234 hp at 16000 rpm. The key difference is the engine uses traditional spring valves whereas the valves on the RC213V are activated pneumatically.

Mon, 24 Feb 2014The 2014 World Supersport season opened in dramatic fashion after a red-flagged restart turned the 18-lap race into a five-lap sprint, with MV Agusta making a triumphant return to the top of the podium for the first time since 1976. The Supersport event began with a hard-fought battle between three-time champion Kenan Sofuoglu, Kev Coghlan and Michael van der Mark. Sofuoglu and his Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R held a slim lead over Coghlan’s Yamaha R6 and van der Mark’s Honda CBR600RR when the race was halted after CIA Insurance Honda rider Jack Kennedy suffered an engine problem and leaked oil onto the track.

Mon, 20 Jan 2014Chad Reed earned his first AMA Supercross win in nearly two years with a hard-fought battle in the second round of three rounds at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. The win was the 42nd career victory for the TwoTwo Motorsports Kawasaki rider, but the first since Jan. 21, 2012, in Los Angeles.
