Honda Gold Wing description

1978 Honda GL1000 Goldwing.

The title says there is a mileage descrepency-don't know why-speedometer seems to keep accurate mileage.

I have replaced the fuel petcock, all seals around the water pump, swapped out the right front caliper, did a complete tune up-also flushed/cleaned the cooling system and put in new antifreeze.

It has a windjammer fairing.

I put bags and trunk on around a month ago-not honda but functional and gives you more rear lights.

If you need more info or are in the area and want to see it let me know.

Mileage may be a little higher than stated as I am still riding this bike.

Schwantz Ousted From CotA

Statement by Kevin Schwantz: “I have read several reports regarding my attendance at the MotoGP test last week in Austin.

Photo: Brian J. Nelson Danny Eslick capped off his return to the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class in spectacular fashion, winning the 73rd edition of the Daytona 200. The native of Broken Arrow, OK, and a two-time series champ won pole and then outlasted the competition to win the big one.

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
