Honda Gold Wing description

1985 GL1200i in great condition.  Radio works fine.  Fresh oil change.  Good tires with plenty of tread.  Runs and shifts smooth.  Good stator putting out 14.5 V.  No noticeable paint fading.  Some fading of the top surface pin striping which is common for these bikes.  Plastic is in good shape.  No known issues.  Adult owned and garage kept under cover.  Upgraded to a GL1800 and need to make room.

NR750 owners should require approval

Mon, 14 Jun 2010

Words can't express the absolute disbelief of this strangely attired guy trying to ride one of the rarest motorcycles every to grace tarmac. But this clip descends in to absurdity when the rider fumbles setting off on the Honda NR750 and drops the oval-pistoned beauty on its side. Did he stall it or is there a disc lock hidden within the pixilated video?

Someone is Takin' the Mick

Thu, 30 Sep 2010

Pull out the slippers and plant yourself in front of a log fire and let Mick Grant talk you through his racing career. With a foreword from our Whit', the book details Granty's life from his Yorkshire roots through to all of his seven TT wins and the intense rivalry with Barry Sheene in the 1970s. Don't judge the book by it's cover, it's not a disaster like the out-of-focus oval-pistoned Honda NR500 but a good read.
