Fri, 18 Nov 2011Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship
Mon, 12 Dec 2011Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.

Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
