Honda Gold Wing description

Garage Kept Never seen rain Extras include: - Bagger windshield for shorter local riding (original windshield included). Changing the windshield takes only 10-15 minutes (very easy). - Passenger Audio Controls from J&M - Ergo Driver and Passenger Highway Pegs from Kuryakyn - Chrome lower front cowl - Black ISO Grips from Kuyakyn (over-grips) making the grip diameter larger and much more comfortable (grip heaters still work nicely). Can be easily removed, to return to the factory grips - New Deluxe Embroidered Goldwing Trunk and Saddlebag Mats from Honda - Chrome Turndown Exhaust Extensions from Kuryakyn - Center stand - Wind deflectors located below the mirrors - Driver backrest - Luggage rack (not currently attached) which can be re-attached in less than five minutes - Pulsating Brake Light Controller from Kuryakyn KBB values this bike at $17,925 The buy it now is set $2,000 below the fair market value, per KBB Please note that the KBB value does not take mileage into consideration and this bike has minimal miles on it, practically new for a touring bike like a Goldwing. Please also note that the KBB value does not take the extended Honda Protection Plan into consideration. If anything, KBB assumes that the factory warranty has expired on a 2010 model, as Goldwings only carry a 3 yr factory warranty. This bike was has the longest possible warranty extension available from Honda, which is 100% transferrable to the new owner. By itself, that has a huge value and piece of mind for the next owner. I'm selling because my wife prefers that I stop riding with our son, which was the original purpose. I have another smaller bike which I prefer to ride when I go alone. I'm selling significantly below market value, because I am hoping for a very quick sale, and not sit on it until next summer. I have the title in hand. I live in Orange County, California, and available to show the bike anytime. Thanks for looking. John

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR300R Revealed at EICMA

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

The new Honda CBR300R already made its world premiere earlier this month at the 2013 CIMAMotor show in China, but the entry-level sportbike has now made its European debut at the 2013 EICMA show, with full details and specs released. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Replacing the CBR250R in most western markets, the new CBR300R offers an extra 37cc in displacement and styling inspired from the CBR1000RR. As we previously reported, the 286cc engine was achieved by increasing the stroke of the 250′s engine by 8 mm to 63mm and keeping the bore at 76mm.

A Weighty Issue

Mon, 03 Nov 2008

For as long as I can remember, motorcycle manufacturers have been playing fast and loose with regard to what they claim for the weight of their bikes. The “dry weights” they foisted upon us had little basis in reality. The “dry” part of that claim meant that listed weights on a spec chart were the result of all fluids being MIA from the bike, including necessities like engine oil, coolant and fork fluid (not to mention fuel), but even that didn’t fully explain the overly optimistic specs.
