Honda Other description

For sale by owner, a 1962 Honda c100 moped. Title is in my name, licensed through 2014 in Minnesota. Not perfect but in very good driver condition with fresh paint (a few scratches here and there), new tires, and new seat. The bike is about 95 percent restored, I tried to keep as much original as I could. There is a crack in the white plastic leg guard near the engine but I have the piece. All rust was sanded and treated when repainted. The bike didn't come with the blinker option I just put them in to cover up the holes. I have the original carb, and seat off the bike that will go with it. I put a new one on. Very hard to find these early c100's. A nice driver quality, It never fails that someone has stopped and talked to me about it when I've had it around town. Runs and drives as it should.  The moped does smoke some, I asked an old mechanic at my local Honda dealer and he said it was common for these old Hondas to smoke a bit which is probably the rings which is an easy fix but he said to keep it as original as I could and burning a little oil wont hurt it so I left the engine alone. There are replacement rings for the piston available really cheap and its not a hard job,I just left it original. It could use an exhaust gasket where the two pipes come together. Please keep in mind that its not perfect, everything is there and I took the bike as far as I wanted to on the restoration to make it a nice driver.

Email me for any other questions any specific pictures you would like, or if you want to drive it or look at it.

I will not end the auction early, the top bid will get the bike so bid to win, this is a no reserve auction. I will not stop the auction early like some do on ebay because they are not getting enough money for the bike, it is being sold to the top bidder so I can free up some money to start on a new project.

I pride myself in being as honest as I can be, I have 100% feedback.

Here is a link to a video of it running and driving

The 2014 edition of the LA Calendar Motorcycle Show continued its now 23-year tradition as the premier outdoor streetbike event in America with producer photographer Jim Gianatsis moving the show this year to the beautiful green lawns of the Malibu Golf Course among the twisty canyon roads in the Santa Monica Mountains alongside the Pacific Ocean. Highlighting this year’s exciting activities was the emergence of another new and soon to be renown custom bike builder to the sport for which the Calendar Show is known for cultivating. Taking Best of Show in this year’s Calendar Bike Building Championship was Calin Senciac’s Imagine Vehicles International / motorsports fabrication shop with an incredible custom billet aluminum designed chassis built by Terry Ward and the shop crew, housing a legendary 1979 Honda CBX 1047cc air-cooled in-line 6-cylinder engine.
