1973 Honda TL 125, I bought this motorcycle from the estate of the original owner who was a friend of mine. It had been sitting in a heated garage for several decades. I had it running in 2006 but decided last fall to get a complete nine month frame-off restoration at a well known restoration shop in Ohio. No expense was spared in this restoration which cost in excess of $4500. The 4-stroke engine was also rebuilt and always starts on the first kick. I realize that this is expensive for this bike, but if you want most likely the best example on the planet of a Honda TL 125, Honda's first production Trials motorbike, this is it. AMA Supercross: 2012 Salt Lake City Results
Tue, 01 May 2012Ryan Dungey returned to the top of the podium for the first time since late February with a victory at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. With the injured Ryan Villopoto already crowned the 2012 AMA Supercross Champion, the win put Dungey back in contention for second overall. The Red Bull KTM last tasted victory Feb.

Mon, 14 May 2012BMW earned its first-ever World Superbike race win at the U.K.’s Donington Park, but missed out on sweeping the round after teammates Leon Haslam and Marco Melandri crashed on the final corner while battling for the lead in the second race. Melandri earned BMW its landmark first win in Race One leading Haslam in a one-two finish. They could have repeated that finish in Race Two but Haslam low-sided after making contact with Honda‘s Jonathon Rea trying to pass on the inside.
Moto2 needs more radical bikes
Wed, 05 Sep 2012Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.
