1973 Honda TL 125, I bought this motorcycle from the estate of the original owner who was a friend of mine. It had been sitting in a heated garage for several decades. I had it running in 2006 but decided last fall to get a complete nine month frame-off restoration at a well known restoration shop in Ohio. No expense was spared in this restoration which cost in excess of $4500. The 4-stroke engine was also rebuilt and always starts on the first kick. I realize that this is expensive for this bike, but if you want most likely the best example on the planet of a Honda TL 125, Honda's first production Trials motorbike, this is it. EICMA 2008: First Impressions

I haven’t seen anything that I haven’t already seen or heard about previously, but here’s a selection from three of the halls. Yamaha are the only manufacturer to use an industrial crane to place some of its bikes up on high rise stands.

Wed, 03 Jul 2013Honda are well known for their commercials with their 'Cog' ad for the Honda Accord car (2003) the most awarded of its time. Honda's latest advert celebrates the curiosity of their engineers and features classic motorcycles such as the Honda Cub and the RC112. A CBR and CRF also make an appearance along with a nod to that previous ad, a cog.
WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report
Mon, 15 Apr 2013BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
