Honda Other description

Very nice 1974 Honda XL175 with under 700 original miles.

I bought this bike about 5-6 years ago to go with my XL70 and 100 collection.Have since sold those so this one is going also since i have other interest right now.

When i got this bike i put 2 miles on it,drained fuel and stored it inside my home with the other XL's just for show.

The bike has not been ran since but there should be no issues as it was a strong running bike that performed perfectly.Bike currently has no battery in it although i still have the one that came out of it if buyers wants it.Not sure if it's good or not. .

Exhaust is in very nice condition, has some rubs at rear on paint but that's it.

Bike comes with a clear Texas title in my name.Still has original Nitto tires and original tool kit that is in superb condition, bag and all..

Not sure you will ever find a nicer XL 175 than this one.

I also have bike for sale locally and reserve right to cancel auction at anytime if bike sells locally.I also have a super nice 1973 CB 750 listed in a seperate auction. Please check it out as well.

I require a 250.00 non refundable deposit due within 48 hours thru Pay Pal at end of auction and balance due by cash or bank cashiers check.Bike does not leave til all payments are cleared.

All shipping and shipping cost is the responsiblity of buyer.

Bike sells only to lower 48 US states unless you contact me at 281-850-9855 and make special arrangements.

Also no bids will be accepted with a feedback score of less than 10, unless you have contacted me by phone to make arrangements.

Thanks for looking and good luck !

The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video

Fri, 06 Jun 2014

Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

Metzeler Z8 wins Motorrad award

Tue, 10 Apr 2012

METZELER'S Z8 Interact sports-touring tyre has been classed as the best wet weather sports-touring tyre by the German Motorrad TestCenter. Metzeler decided to develop new compounds for the Roadtec Z8 Interact precisely to meet these needs, tyres with the specific goal of providing riders not only the most recent technological solutions available in the area of wet performance, but also the possibility of having a tyre with a wide range of use that represents the new standard in terms of performance in any weather conditions, from wet and cold to hot and dry. The criteria considered in the wet test by Motorrad TestCenter have been: steering precision and characteristics, line holding during acceleration, ease of handling, grip at lean angle for front and rear tyres, grip during acceleration, limit range characteristics, feedback at lean angle, braking stability during full braking with ABS.
