Honda Other description

1982 Honda Sabre , This is a one of a kind find. I purchased this bike new in 1982 when I worked for Honda as a dealership mechanic. Its never been wrecked and has been stored inside its whole life and has been professionally maintained. I just installed new steering head bearings, new Michelin tires, new rear brakes, and new fork seals. Everything works just as it did right off the show room floor. This bike was a head of its time for technological advancement. Features include: The smoothest 750cc engine made due to a perfectly primary balanced 90 deg. V-4 DOHC engine, shaft drive, fibre-optic anti-theft alarm system, TRAC adjustable anti-dive front suspension, Pro-link rear suspension, air adjustable front and rear suspension, hydraulic actuated clutch, dual front disc brakes, six speed trany, self canceling turn signals, electronic instrument cluster with electronic fault display, and LCD gear display. Extras include color matched Tracey fairing, factory Honda luggage rack with adjustable back rest, Daytona steering stabilizer and custom fork brace. $2,700.00 4063604765

Fri, 19 Oct 2012

Maverick Vinales seems to be living up to his name, announcing he is leaving the Blusens Avintia team despite sitting second in the Moto3 World Championship with three rounds to go. Vinales traveled with the team to Sepang for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix but did not take part in Free Practice and later announced the split. You may remember Vinales from last season when he raced in the former 125cc Grand Prix World Championship for the Paris Hilton-sponsored Blusens-BQR team.

2011 Isle of Man TT Recap

Fri, 10 Jun 2011

The Isle of Man TT usually provides a lot of drama, and this year’s event was no different. John McGuinness, second on the all-time TT wins list, added two more wins to his resume to win the Joey Dunlop Trophy while MotoCzysz once again fell just short of taking the bounty for being the first electric motorcycle team to record a 100 mph lap on the Mountain Course. The 2011 Isle of Man TT also had its share of tragedy with three racing fatalities.

Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Wed, 09 Jul 2014

Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.
