When I bought this bike it had just had a top end rebuild. I swapped out the suspension to a CR500 front end, XR600 swingarm and rear wheel, XR350 rear shock, and all the parts needed to make it work. It ended up being a great street legal dual sport bike for the tight singletrack I ride on. About a year later it developed a rod knock, and after pulling the engine apart it needed the crank rebuilt, a new oil pump, and should have all the bearings replaced. Top end is still in great shape. I have since switched to two stroke bikes, and this one needs to go to someone who will get it going again or has a spare engine laying around. All the original parts are included, as well as a bunch of spares if you wanted to take it back to stock. It's just taking up space here and needs a good home. It was plated and has a clean title, so no problem putting it back on the street. There are a lot of boxes of parts here, and shipping would be prohibitive. But it would make a nice pickup truck load!

Marco Melandri earned BMW its second ever World Superbike victory to move into second place in the championship standings behind Max Biaggi in the series’ only stop in the United States. Melandri won a red-flagged Race Two at Utah’s Miller Motorsports Park after finishing second to defending WSBK Champion Carlos Checa in Race One to give him 142.5 points on the season, tied with Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes but behind Aprilia‘s Biaggi who leads the way with 160.5 points. Video: Honda Crossrunner v mountain pass

This road (the one in the video) was a previously unseen, super-steep mountain pass which needed first gear for the hairpins and second between them with an occasional grab at third on the quicker sections. It was the sort of road that pumps up your forearms and makes you crane your neck to see what's coming next (mainly cyclists). The surface was rubbish.
