Honda Other tech info
Honda Other description
HERE IS YOUR CHANCE... to get a 1989 Honda GB500 on the cheap! Bike has been in the garage rafters for the loast several years. The carb was pulled and cleaned but never reinstalled. The bike DID run when the carb was pulled, which was about five years ago. The bike is weather and needs some love. The bike comes with an extra set of header pipes, set of new Metzelers and another factory muffler. Tank has a couple dents, seat needs recovering, carb needs to be put back together and installed, brake caliper sticks a bit, all fluids should be flushed and filled. Spokes are crusty but the rims look clean and solid. Never crashed, but it was clearly dropped at least once or twice. Frame is straight and it comes with a California CLEAN AND CLEAR Title. A good basis for a custom build or an awesome parts bike if you already ride and work on these iconic bikes. We can help facilitate shipping anywhere int he country. If you do not have a shipping company, we can suggest several. Feel free to call me at 619.804.2196 to ask any and all questions. |

VFR800F Coming to US as 2014 Honda Interceptor
Tue, 04 Feb 2014We’ll admit, we weren’t confident Honda would import the VFR800F to these shores when it was first announced at last fall’s EICMA show in Milan. As such, we are pleased to report American Honda is bringing back the V-4 sport-tourer to the U.S. market as the Honda Interceptor.
Honda Trademarks Design for Naked CBR300R
Thu, 06 Mar 2014Earlier this week, we uncovered Kawasaki‘s design trademark for a naked version of its 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. It now looks like Kawasaki isn’t the only Japanese manufacturer with a small-displacement naked model on the way. Honda has registered a trademark on the design for a new motorcycle that appears to be a naked CBR300R or CBR250R.
Shunji Yokokawa
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Honda Project Leader Shunji Yokokawa's first Honda bike was a CB900, which he got when he was a teenager after seeing Freddie Spencer wheeling his way down the Laguna's Corkscrew.Yokokawa has been in the States himself recently, having travelled to the Bonneville Salt Flats to break a world land speed record for a stock 600cc motorcycle.According to the Southern California Timing Association website (you'd have thought the video might have mentioned something about the record?), Shunji was successful in his attempt during August's 'Speed Week', setting an official speed of 170.828mph onboard a CBR600RR.
