Honda Other description

1989 Honda Pacific Coast PC800, 1989 Honda PC800 Pacific Coast - 26,014 miles - Almost Like New (You don't get to be 24 years old without a minor sctatch here and there) I always said that if Buzz Lightyear were to have a motorcycle, it would be a Pacific Coast. So I had it painted like Buzz ! The silver lower parts went to lime green and the gray upper parts went to purple. The pearl white parts stayed pearl white. This bike turns heads ! 800cc water cooled V-twin (similar to the Shadow motor) 5-speed transmission. 45-50 MPG (depending how far you turn up the wick) QUIET ! (the wife and I can talk without yelling at 70MPH) Very Strong Cruiser (the wife and I together top 500 lbs and it pulls us with no problem) Backrest/Case is lockable and will hold one (1) helmet. The trunk has two compartments that will hold a full face helmet each or a nice size briecase. Tires are four (4) years old (no dry rot!) Will throw in two Lancer Helments and a dolly to roll the bike around in the garage if you want them. $4,000.00 4407854516

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR1000RR First Impressions – Video

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

It may not have a fancy electronics suite like many of its rivals, but the Honda CBR1000RR has long been one of our favorite literbikes due to its light and nimble handling combined with strong, accessible torque. For 2014, Honda is upping the ante with the CBR1000RR SP edition. No, it still doesn’t have any electronic aids, but it does have a bevy of top shelf suspension components.

Stoner Tests Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer

Thu, 03 Oct 2013

Retired two-time MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner returned to the track this week to test Honda‘s RC213V racer as well as the company’s new RCV1000R production racer at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit in Japan. This was Stoner’s first test on the production racer after rain cut short a previous test session in August. The weather again threatened to derail Honda’s testing plans, wiping out the first day of the two-day test but Stoner was able to finally able to put in some laps on the production racer and came away impressed.
