Honda CBR300R Confirmed for Canada for 2015

It’s taken a while, but the Honda CBR300R has finally been confirmed for North America, as Honda Canada announced it would be available in the fall as a 2015 model. American Honda has yet to announced whether it would offer the CBR300R, but with today’s announcement of the NM4 and PCX150, we expect the CBR250R replacement will also be coming a a 2015 model. Honda Reports Q1 2012-2013 Results

Honda reports a 12.5% increase in motorcycle sales over its first quarter ended June 30, 2012. The quarter represents a return to form following last year’s opening quarter which faced the financial fallout from last March’s earthquakes and tsunami in Japan. The difference is most apparent when looking at the company’s bottom line.

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
