Honda Other description

2012 Honda VT750C Phantom, Blacked-out Phantom! - Some motorcyclists like bright colours and gleaming chrome. Some prefer a subdued, raw and rough, all-business look. If you fall into the latter camp, then the Honda VT750C Phantom was built just for you. Beneath the Phantom’s distinctive black-on-black exterior beats the heart of a high-performance cruiser that’s just the right size for city or open-road riding. Sit in the wide and comfortable seat, and you’ll notice right away how easily your feet can be placed flat on the ground. It’s a confidence-inspiring seating position that combines with an upright riding posture for enhanced comfort and control on longer trips. The Phantom’s torquey 745 cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine features Honda’s PGM-FI electronic fuel injection system, three-valve cylinder heads and dual-spark-plug combustion chambers, so you can be sure of crisp acceleration and exciting highway roll-on power. So pull on your black jacket, slip on your black helmet, and slide on your black boots and gloves. Then swing a leg over your Honda VT750C Phantom. They keep saying that red or blue or whatever is the “new black.” But let’s face it: nothing beats the real thing.

Asimo: Lazy bastard

Wed, 22 Aug 2012

Honda's ASIMO, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility robot is a pretty cool thing. Until I'd seen it in the flesh (plastic?) I thought it was just a willy-waving exercise from Honda, but when I saw it running and walking up and down stairs, I was massively impressed. So, perhaps, one day, we'll have the ability to buy a relative of ASIMO to help us around the house, I thought to myself.

2014 Honda CTX700 Recalled in Canada for ABS Issue

Thu, 11 Jul 2013

Transport Canada announced a recall for the new Honda CTX700 because of a manufacturing error in its anti-lock braking system. The Canadian recall applies to both the CTX700N and the partially-faired CTX700T (known simply as the Honda CTX700 in the U.S. market and other markets.) According to the recall notice, the ABS modulator may have been manufactured incorrectly and could potentially fail, allowing the front and/or rear wheels to lock up under heavy braking, increasing the risk of a crash.

Honda MotoGP Production Racer Undergoes Testing at Motegi

Mon, 27 May 2013

Development of Honda‘s new production racer is well underway, as the new (relatively) low-cost MotoGP racebike underwent testing at Japan’s Twin Ring Motegi circuit May 23-24. Conceived as a lower-cost option for race teams, the production racer project is running slightly behind schedule but Honda still expects it will available in time for the 2014 MotoGP season. Early reports estimate the price for the production racer to be around US$1.26 million, a substantial price, but still considerably less expensive than rumored $3.9 million it currently costs to lease a Honda RC213V for one season.
