Honda Other description

Up for sale is and amazing garage find, a 1982 Ascot FT500, this was a flat trackers dream and is a still sought after bike today. This bike is in wonderful shape and is all there, it was involved in a minor argument with a post and has been fixed to be back to normal once again. Here is a little info on the Ascot,

The FT500 Ascot was named after the famous California dirt track. The engine is a modified version of the XR500 unit; a single cylinder with balancing shafts, automatic cam chain tensioner, CDI ignition, CV carburetor and electric start. The Ascot utilizes an integrated tank, seat and tail section design, has cast aluminum wheels, and disc brakes with dual piston calipers. The Ascot has a 5 speed gearbox and chain final drive. These bikes had to be produced so many years and so many had to be made in order for the flat trackers to run them out on the circle tracks. She is a piece of American flat track history.

So take a look, ask questions and good luck!!!
