Honda Rebel description

1986 Honda Rebel (CMX250C), This bike was more of a project bike for me. When I got it it wasn't running at all. So I took the motor in for compression and a carb clean. Replaced oils, spark plugs. I've only put about 10 hours on the motor after the work an thats just to my local gym and back. I have paper work for proof of motor work and bike maintenence. Also: gaskets and bearings have been replaced. Bike runs great. The header isn't vented like all the other stock Honda rebel headers so every once in a while you'll have to loosen to gas cap to relieve the pressure. Otherwise it just backfires more. Bike turns heads whenever it's being riden or out of the garage. I've invested about $1200 after the first $2000 I paid. I'm asking for $3200 but I am willing to trade for a 2010 or newer Crf 450. Honda Announces 400cc Version of 500-Series Engine

Tue, 05 Feb 2013

Honda has revealed a new, smaller-displacement variation of the 470cc parallel-twin engine introduced on its new CBR500, CB500F and CB500X models. The new engine has a bore of 67mm, just like Honda‘s 500-series engine, but a stroke of 56.6mm instead of the longer 66.8mm. The result is an engine displacement of 399cc, which makes the new engine a better fit for markets such as Japan license restrictions are much stricter for engines larger than 400cc.

Naked 150SS Racer Concept turned into a production model.A show bike with a spectacular design and a cocky “racing” name was presented in March at the motor show in Bangkok, and starting with autumn it turned into a serial CB150R bike. The motor is a modest 150cc with two camshafts, liquid cooling and a six-speed gearbox. The CB150R features an inverted fork, a front caliper radial mount brake system and optional ABS.

First Look: Marotti Honda-engined trike

Wed, 10 Feb 2010

TAKE A HONDA VFR750 engine, a reverse trike chassis and some Batman-style aerodynamic bodywork and this is the result. Polish company Marotti have built this 100bhp prototype model using a 750cc Honda motorcycle engine. The company is now planning to frighten potential customers witless with a new 1.4 litre engine machine that will deliver a claimed power ratio of 397bhp/tonne.Oooh, yer bugger...
