Honda Rebel CMX250 in great condition. I am the second owner and it was purchased with 1500 miles or so. All the miles I put on it were mainly highway miles. Since purchasing I've replaced the front tire and put in a new battery as well as regular oil changes. This bike has been garaged its whole life. Mechanically speaking Bike runs great. The only issues with it are some minor rust spots (underneath pipes but nothing noticeable or serious and can be dealt with a little TLC) the saddlebags (one has a hole on the inside of it from rubbing up against the bike but you can still carry big things in there) and the windshield (the one that came with it is a generic windshield that doesn't fit the bike very well). Other than that this bike is ready to go. This is a great starter bike as it is usually the same model used in motorcycle schools. Perfect bike for smaller riders and an awesome commuter bike (I averaged 75 MPG on the highway and topped off at 80 MPG on a few occasions). Today, however, Yamaha Factory Racing rider Cyril Despres took his second special stage win of 2014 and his 33rd career win for Dakar. Coma, despite taking a 15 minute penalty, finished second for the day, maintaining his overall lead.
Hero Honda Rebranded as Hero MotoCorp
Tue, 09 Aug 2011Honda’s former joint venture in India has officially rebranded itself as Hero MotoCorp, revealing the company’s new logo and signaling the beginning of a new era for India’s largest motorcycle manufacturer. Formerly known as Hero Honda, the joint venture claims a share of nearly half of India’s two-wheeled vehicle market. Honda decided in late 2010 to end its 27-year partnership with India’s Hero Motors, buying out its 26% share for $855 million, about half the market price at the time.
Honda Reports 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 25 Apr 2014A strong fourth quarter helped Honda see a 9.8% increase in motorcycle sales and a 9.3% increase in motorcycle revenue for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2014. The Japanese manufacturer reported sales of 17.0 million motorcycles and ATVs over the fiscal year, up from the 15.5 million sold in the previous year. Honda’s worldwide motorcycle sales increased in each of the previous seven quarters going from 3.8 million in the Q2 last year to 4.5 million in the most recently completed quarter.
