2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb To Use Airfence, Thanks To Honda Sponsorship

After a successful 2013 campaign in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where Honda’s own Jeff Tigert won the Pikes Peak 450 class and set a new record, Honda is stepping up its involvement for 2014, as both a sponsor and race participant, with plans to field products in seven distinct race classes. In addition, Honda will be working with the AMA and the Pikes Peak sanctioning body on improvements which will provide new levels of safety to the Motorcycle / ATV / UTV / Sidecar competitors. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.

Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recall Affects 6,954 Units in US

As we expected following similar recalls in Australia and Japan, American Honda has announced a recall campaign on the 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R because of a risk of oil leaking from the engine. The recall affects 6,954 units in the U.S. including ABS and non-ABS models.
