Honda Shadow description

1999 Honda Shadow Ace American Classic

750 cc - cruiser

I purchased the motorcycle a few months ago but currently in financial hardship so the motorcycle needs to be sold.  Has a clear title, no liens. It starts up everytime runs and handles great.

Used but in great condition and low mileage - less than 9400. A few small imperfections: Front fender 2 small areas touched up with paint, small ding paint not broken on left side on the front of the fuel tank, paint chip near the name of the motorcycle in the white area on the left side of the tank not touched up with paint and several scratches on the left mirror.

Motorcycle is garage kept. The motorcycle does have a windshield and will be sold with it. In the pictures some are with the windhshield on and others its off. Currently the windshield is off. I recently purchased and had mounted on a new Michelin tire and tube for the rear. Front tire is still in good condition/not cracked/dry rotted.

The motorcycle will also come with the original factory black seat, black rear fender passenger pad, black lever covers with fringes, passenger pegs, owners manual, shop manual, parts book, spark plugs, tool to remove the spark plugs and a motorcycle cover.

Some of the factory chrome pieces were painted black to give it a custom look. A custom seat was made in the saddle color to give it a vintage look plus the saddle colored lever covers with fringes.

Bidder is responsible for pick up, if in New Mexico or surrounding states to save shipping cost, or contact a shipping company for pick up and delivery. Tyrone is located outside of Silver City, NM. Southwest area of the state.

Motorcycle is also being listed in my local area, so this auction could end at any time.

While there are certain countries around the globe that are known for their significant contribution to technological innovation within the motorcycle industry, Brazil has never been one of them. Until now, it seems. Brazilian Honda subsidiary Moto Honda da Amazonia Ltda., recently began sales of the CG150 TITAN MIX, a 150cc bike with the world’s first production flexible-fuel technology.

MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.

Riding The Arctic Circle…On A Honda C90

Tue, 21 May 2013

Ed March isn’t your typical motorcyclist. He chose to take a motorcycle journey to the Arctic Circle in the dead of winter. While many people would consider this a crazy idea in itself, March’s choice of motorcycle — a Honda C90 — will probably shock many more.
