Honda Shadow description

I am in neEd of selling my 02 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 because of health reasons. I purchased this 3 months ago because I really figured I could ride forever. I sold my Harley last year because it was real rough on my back. When I rode this one I shit, It is soo soo comfy and I am a 250 lb man. I put Forwards on it and I have floor boards for it also. The mirror are also after market and the pipes are drag pipes and this baby pops nice. I have all the items I switched out so if you want you can go back to stock. I have the sissy and a windshield also. All together there are over 900 in extra's to make it better.
Now the bad. There is always something. I have a pic so you can see, there is a dent on the tank. Not to huge but it is their but it can be repaired. This is also chain driven and I love it.
Ladies if you want a bike at a better price than a Harley and way more comfortable to start with this is the ride for you. Like I said I am 250 pounds and this thing throws enough power to make me happy.
I am asking 2000 firm if sold by Thursday or it goes back up. and to be honest with all the extras I really do not want to cut the price any more. I figure with what I paid and put into it the bike is valued around 3400.
Do not wait this will not last and when you come to look bring the cash because I will not hold the bike without the full amount and you can not drive it without i permit or better and I will hold the monies and DL while you test it out because if you smash it I am keeping the cash and you get the bike.

Used: MOTOTENT by Lone Rider

Mon, 12 Aug 2013

Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.

New: Venhill 888 fast-action twistgrips

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

CONTROL specialist Venhill has launched its new 888 range of bike-specific fast action twistgrips.  Supplied complete with the company's top of the range Featherlight cables, the kits are designed for a straightforward replacement of the factory-fitted equipment.  Bike-specific kits are now available for the Honda CBR600F, Kawasaki ZX-6R/ZX-10R, Suzuki GSX-R600/750, Triumph 675 Daytona and Yamaha R1/R6, among others, with prices from £105. Here's Venhill's description of the new product: "Manufactured with a robust CNC machined alloy body, the 888 fast action twistgrip provides a choice of two settings and is supplied with two rotors so that riders can select the throttle action that best suits the riding conditions.  Settings can be changed swiftly by undoing the two set screws securing the throttle body and changing the rotor. On the fastest setting there is 80° of rotation, (taking up 36mm of the cable), which is typically 45% faster than 'standard' throttles.
