Honda Shadow description
Up for sale is my 2002 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. This bike is in attractive shape and runs like new. This was my wife's 1st real street bike. Now that she has gotten more experience I have purchased her a more powerful bike and is the only reason I'm selling this one. There are many extras on this Shadow, including:LeatherLyke saddlebags (removable hard bags)Baron tachometer crash bar Highway pegsMustang seatPassenger back rest (sissy bar)Throttle lockCustom air filter coverQuick release windshield Already wired for Gerbings heated suitI have recently replaced the chain and both sprockets. I also installed a 38 tooth rear sprocket instead of the factory 42 tooth sprocket. This allows you to wind out each gear a little more (makes passing a little easier) as well as gives a little more top end speed and slightly better gas milage. The J&M 40 channel cb radio seen in the photos will be removed before the sale of this bike unless you let me know ahead of time that you would like to purchase it. ($500). I also have the 1 removed from another bike I just sold, if interested. About 4yrs ago I purchased both of these radios (for about $1500) so my wife and I could communicate with each other wether she was riding with me or on her own bike. Can also plug in MP3 player for music. At the time purchased these were top of the line radios and still work extremely well

2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N Revealed, the First in a New Series Focused on Comfort, Technology and Experience

The Honda CTX700 represents the first in a new series from Honda combining the three tenets of Comfort, Technology and Experience. It’s a platform “specifically engineered to make motorcycling more approachable, affordable and fun than ever before.” Our own Troy Siahaan is at the CTX700 models’ launch in Chicago and will have a full first-hand report next week, but for now here’s a quick look at Honda’s new streetbikes.
Day 6 Dakar 2014: Duclos Wins Stage, Palante Found Dead
Fri, 10 Jan 2014Sherco rider Alain Duclos took today’s stage, eight years after his first win in Bamako. With three top five finishes this year Duclos has proven his own increased competitiveness as well as that of the Sherco 450 Rally bike he’s aboard. In more tragic news, the body of Belgian rider, Eric Palante was found Friday morning on a part of the fifth stage route that riders completed on Thursday.
