Honda Shadow description

2003 Honda Shadow Ace 750 DELUX, Hello, I am selling my 2003 Honda Shadow ACE 750. It only has 17,500 miles. It has always been garage kept, and maintained well. It has new Dunlop tires, with less than 500 miles on them, Cobra drag pipes and has been jetted for them. It also has driver and passenger padded backrests, studded leather saddlebags, a handlebar bag and a Memphis Shades ez-detachable windshield. It also has Kuryakyn Iso Peg floor boards, Highway bars with pegs and a rear luggage rack. Also comes with a nice bike cover. This bike is the A.C.E. Deluxe Edition (American Classic Edition), which not only included big classy front and rear fenders, but a custom paint job on both fenders and the tank, and a born on date on the air filter cover. I have had nothing but joy and pleasure with this bike, only having to do routine maintenance and replacing tires after they wear out. The Shadow handles very well on the highway, and loves the twisty roads. I am only getting rid of it because as our kids get older, my wife and I have been able to enjoy more and longer rides, so we got a bigger, touring bike. This has been a great bike and has many, many miles of great service left. It has never been dropped and has no defects. Everything works as it should. I purchased this bike from the original owner, who always had it garage kept, as I have. I will not be shipping this bike, so it will be up to you to take care of. I can, however, deliver the bike to you if we can come an agreement on delivery fees. $3,400.00 3152254185

Electric Honda Motorcycle to Debut Next Year

Tue, 04 Aug 2009

According to Honda’s head of motorcycle operations, Tatsuhiro Oyama, the lithium-ion battery powered motorcycle will target corporate customers which may include Japan Post and delivery companies, the bike will debut in Japan next year. Oyama, made the announcement on August 1st at a test drive event in Motegi, Japan. Honda started building a battery factory earlier this year with joint-venture partner GS Yuasa, manufacturing batteries for Honda’s electric hybrid cars but Oyama declined to disclose the motorcycle battery supplier.

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
