I have owned this bike for the last three years and its been a great machine. I knew the previous purchaser of this bike who bought it new. It has been stored indoors and taken care of by both of us. As you can tell by the mileage neither have ridden it much, especially myself. My riding companions no longer ride and I have a wife and new baby on the way to it's time to let someone else enjoy this bike. This bike is in great shape and is very quick. It has has aftermarket cobra pipes installed and a jet kit installed at the same time. It starts very easily and is a very smooth running bike. The color is purple with purple ghost flames, all original. It also has a passenger back rest installed that will remain on the bike. Other than the exhaust and backrest the bike is stock. EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F
Mon, 04 Nov 2013Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

Lever suspension, which stabilizes the bahavior, may appear on other models of the company in the future. This is hinted at by patent images of similar systems integrated into the design of completely different motorcycles - the “classic” CB1100 and the small-capacity C125 Super Cub.
Gresini Unveils 2012 MotoGP and Moto3 Honda Race Bikes
Tue, 13 Mar 2012Last season, Alvaro Bautista rode on one of the best looking motorcycles on the MotoGP grid, the Suzuki GSV-R in Rizla powder blue livery by Troy Lee Designs. This season, Bautista is riding the Gresini Honda RC213V, but instead of its previous white paint job, the Gresini machine is in a sleek black. No reason for the color change was announced, though it’s possible the choice is a sign of mourning for the late Marco Simoncelli whose place Bautista is assuming with Gresini.
