Honda Shadow description

Most scrapes are on easily replaceable places like back of mirror and clutch handle. There is also a small ding on the exhaust pipe (pictured).

I can include any accessories I have for the bike if wanted for example front fork bag, and rear bag (both pictured on bike).
I am the original owner and have had it in for all its scheduled maintenance. I purchased the bike at Motorcycle Factory (MFI) in Woodbridge, VA.
I would prefer local pickup once sale has been completed or buyer handles shipment planning and costs.

If you have any questions about the bike I would be more than happy to answer!

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.

Long Live The Kings

This short film features a Honda and a pair of flat-twin Beemers customised by Paris-based Blitz Motorcycles. It was shot exclusively on super 16mm film and looks stunning. But more importantly, loads of fun.

Video: Honda Crossrunner v mountain pass

Fri, 01 Apr 2011

This road (the one in the video) was a previously unseen, super-steep mountain pass which needed first gear for the hairpins and second between them with an occasional grab at third on the quicker sections. It was the sort of road that pumps up your forearms and makes you crane your neck to see what's coming next (mainly cyclists). The surface was rubbish.
