Honda Shadow description
MUST SELL/REGISTER OUTSIDE OF CALIFORNIA My loss is your gain... Purchased in May 2016 in Indiana, went to register in California, only to find out it will not pass California's strict emission laws. It can be registered in literally any other state. I love this motorcycle, it runs perfectly. Comfortable and extremely easy to ride. The two flaws are a missing rear license plate light/housing; secondly, there some scuffs on the rear plastic fender (see photo). Very low milage (3,500 miles)... 7/30/16 full oil change and maintenance service. Please feel free to ask any questions and/or request more photos. |

Flooding in Thailand Not Expected to Affect Honda Motorcycle Production
Thu, 13 Oct 2011Severe flooding in Thailand has disrupted Honda’s automobile production but the company’s motorcycle production is expected to proceed normally. Hundreds have been died since July due to heavy flooding in Thailand and several provinces remain underwater as the Asian nation experiences its worst floods in 50 years. Heavy monsoon rains from multiple storm systems over the last few weeks have added to the problem, affecting millions in northern and central Thailand.
And it's goodbye from him
Tue, 17 Aug 2010THIS IS Valentino Rossi's farewell letter to his Fiat Yamaha team following the announcement the flambouyant Italian is to head to Ducati MotoGP in 2011.The hand-written letter, mistakes and all, is written in almost a 'my first romance' kinda way. It's touching, if a little bizarre. Some of the letter reads:“Unfortunately even the most beautiful love stories finish, but they leave a lot of wonderful memories, like when my M1 and I kissed for the first time on the grass at Welkom, when she looked straight in my eyes and told me ‘I love you!'"Somehow, we can't see Casey Stoner gushing quite as freely when he leaves Ducati for Repsol Honda.
Stoner explains the tank slapper
Mon, 03 Oct 2011Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
