I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! Honda Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results

Honda reported an 11.4% increase in sales volume and 30.0% increase in net sales revenue from its motorcycle business in the third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2013. The industry giant sold 4.25 million motorcycles over the quarter compared to sales of 3.82 motorcycles in the same quarter the previous year.

Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
