Posting this for my wife's uncle, he recently went into a nursing home. 2005 Honda VTX1300R, the "R" stands for retro. Classic cruiser look with big fenders and foot boards. Bike is in nice shape, showing no signs of ever being dropped or laid down. Front tire is worn out and will need replacement. Rear tire is good for at least another season. I don't know the maintenance history of the bike, but it does run well. Handling is a little sketchy because of the worn front tire. I hear a noise from the front brakes kind of like the rotor has a little runout. Wheels show some oxidation and could use a good cleaning. Other than that she runs good. 47K miles. Honda Announces 2014 Cruisers, Customs and XR650L
Wed, 04 Sep 2013American Honda announced several models returning for the 2014 model year with no changes save for a couple of new color options, but the same pricing as 2013. These 2014 model announcements include Honda’s 750cc Shadow cruisers, its 1300cc customs, the entry-level 250cc Rebel cruiser and the XR650L dual-sport. Those waiting for more substantial changes will have to wait a bit longer for more 2014 Honda announcements.
