1973 HONDA XL250 ENDURO MOTORCYCLE, HAS TITLE, BIKE DOES RUN, OVERALL IN GOOD SHAPE, NOT RUSTY, HAS JUST A FEW COSMETIC/MINOR MECHANICAL ISSUES. THE BIKE RUNS, BUT THERE IS A LITTLE BIT OF OIL LEAKAGE FROM THE LOWER GASKETS I BELEIVE, BIKE DOES NOT SMOKE AND HAS COMRESSION, COULD USE A CARB TUNE/CLEAN, AND MAYBE VALVES ADJUSTED, STARTS RIGHT UP, DOES RUN AND IDLE. IT HAS BEEN REPAINTED AT ONE POINT, SMALL PING DENT IN THE GAS TANK, CLEAN INSIDE, THE PETCOCK DOES SLIGHTLY LEAK IN THE RESERVE POSITION, NOT TERRIBLY BUT COULD USE A NEW SEAL, SOME SCRATCHES IN THE PAINT, NO MAJOR DENTS, FRONT FENDER IS NOT ORIGINAL, DOES HAVE A SOLID ORIGINAL XL250 STOCK EXHAUST IN GOOD SHAPE, THE TIRES ARE IN DECENT CONDITION,BUT THE REAR TUBE HAS A SLOW LEAK AND DOES NOT HOLD AIR FOR MORE THAN A DAY OR 2. Schwantz Ousted From CotA

Wed, 20 Mar 2013

CotA management obviously doesn’t fathom the depth of respect MotoGP fans have for Kevin Schwantz. It may be the newest and best racing venue in the U.S., but it seems as though CotA management is going out of its way to make motorcyclists dislike the place. Statement by Kevin Schwantz: “I have read several reports regarding my attendance at the MotoGP test last week in Austin.

Honda announced a hardcore version of the Africa Twin

Thu, 09 Mar 2017

At the Motodays show in Rome, Honda announced a hardcore version of the Africa Twin, featuring Dakar styling, technical innovations and a price tag that surpasses the exterior of the motorcycle in severity. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

60's styled electric concept bike

Mon, 19 Mar 2012

This electric concept bike takes the styling of an Ossa Grand Prix ridden in late 1960s by Santiago Herrero and brings it into the 21st century. From Barcelona design studio ART-TIC the Monocasco takes its styling cues from Ossa's monocoque racing bike that was introduced at the end of the 1960s. Spain's first motorcycle Grand Prix hero, Herrero took the bike to four victories before his fatal crash in the 1970 Isle of Man TT.
